Doggy Park

In the big park by our house, they installed some gates and made us a little dog park! The dogs usually don't like dog parks, but this one was empty so they got to run around and explore. Dave showed up with Tashi and in the end, I think we were all more excited than the dogs were...
However, I got some fun photos!

Parties and Bowling

Last Saturday night we went to a housewarming party for Brandon and Melissa. This is their first house and it was Brandon's birthday as well.This, of course, is the kitchen. We will be changing the orange to a nice buttercream soon. Nontheless, great big kitchen!Melissa had a great spread of food and Lee helped grill burgers and hot dogs. We had a really really nice time! Complete with keg stands at the end of the evening... I have pictures but I will be nice and not post them.

Thursday night was Wacky Bowl for the Architecture/Design firms in town. There are photos and videos if you want to look at them all here: Wacky Bowl 2009

Vacation Countdown

In 5 weeks I take my licensing exam. I have been really stressed about it and studying hard for it. Lee and I have not been on a vacation in almost 18 months. After much debating and researching - Lee booked our trip this morning to Playa Del Carmen Mexico (next to Cancun). We will be staying at the El Dorado Royale in a private casita. Here are a few of the amenities -

• swim up bar at the main pool
• private infinity pool - which connects you to the lazy river system to take you to the pool with the bar...
  
• roofless private outdoor shower
• private jacuzzi
• champagne in the room at all times
• ALL INCLUSIVE

We will be going there the same week as my birthday (Oct 12 - 16) and taking a Mon-Fri trip so we will still have the weekends around it! That is like a 9 day vacation!

Everywhere.

High school reunion on the 8th - went really well! I had so much fun! Unfortunately, I don't really have many pictures from it and I am impatiently waiting on everyone else to put theirs up on Facebook so I can snatch them. Here is a prom-like photo my Grandmother took -

Prior to the reunion, we went to a wedding of a high-school friend. Busy day!

I have been studying ALOT for my exam, it is really taking alot of my time and is the reason I am MIA most of the time.

We have been eating at some amazing places around town and trying to spend time with friends. As The Test gets closer, I will have to seclude myself more and more. I try to study 4 or 5 days a week. I think 2 nights off is ok for now... Heck I studied 1/2 of Saturday last weekend and part of Sunday as well. I am doing the best that I can right now!!

I will try to get better... but it may not be until October....

Fall TV

I love television. I watch just about everything, as long as it entertains me. Heck, I still watch One Tree Hill, even though it jumped the shark way before the dog ate that donor heart that fell on the floor... (see The Soup for that clip...)

I looked up the fall schedules for the networks today and I am really dissapointed! Looks like tv will only be good on Sunday and Thursday, but not nearly as much to see as last year. This is due to the heavy cancellations on all the networks. I watched the majority of the cancelled stuff - and not all of it was just crap. (Dirty Sexy Money, Lipstick Jungle, etc.)

It looks like Blockbuster Online and HGTV will be what entertains us after dinner most evenings.

In fact, I think Summer TV was better since we had Whale Wars, Burn Notice, and all the wonderful Bravo shows!!
